Why is today so different
This poem was written soon after the birth of my first born Today is so different Sun rose with a shiny grin Moon doesn't seem to disappear Stars remain shimmering Why is today so different Clouds are milky, Sky so bright Dew drops shine on every bloom Butterflies fly in hundred hues Birds are singing lullabies Why is today so different Heaven dropped a bubble It floated like a feather In there I saw, wrapped in gold, my son Eyes so tiny, hands too small These little feet so much like mine WHY NOT TODAY BE DIFFERENT JOSEPH, MY JOY, IS BORN ON THIS DAY
