Wisdom is Eternal life

Wisdom is to know God. It is to understand what is pleasing to Him. It is not to be gained merely for its utility in governing our lives or the lives of others. It is to be desired so that we ourselves may come to rest in communion with God.

As Jesus said:

“This is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” — John 17:3

Wisdom is eternal life.

This knowledge of You, O God, is too good for my soul.

May I relish it like pure honey...

When Your Healing Becomes a Gift to Others

Healing can begin with a deeply personal question: “How can I become whole?” We want freedom from fear. Freedom from shame. Freedom from anger. Freedom from the patterns that have controlled us. And rightly so. But Christian healing does not end with me feeling better. The deeper purpose of healing is communion . We are healed so that we can love more freely. And as we become freer to love, something begins to happen around us: our healing can become a gift to others. Not because we become their saviors. Not because we can fix everyone. Do you love your spouse? Do you love your children? Of course you do. You work hard for them, sacrifice your time, provide for their needs, and make countless decisions with their happiness in mind.
