God has never intended to be encountered only in isolated spiritual moments. From the beginning, creation itself has been His first sanctuary. The heavens proclaim His glory. The earth reveals His goodness. Water cleanses and gives life. Fire warms and purifies. Wind reminds us of His Spirit. Mountains, rivers, trees, animals, the human body, human relationships, beauty, truth, music, silence, and love all become places where humanity can discover the living God. Human beings are created to worship with their whole being. Our eyes see beauty. Our ears hear truth. Our noses smell fragrance. Our hands touch. Our mouths taste. Our minds understand. Our hearts love. Worship is therefore not merely an activity of the intellect but the participation of the whole person in God's life.
